Ready for Life with Scouting

The Ready for Life with Scouting camp takes place at Zánka (at Lake Balaton), and is open for all children from age of 10 to the age of 17. Thanks to the "Erzsébet programme" the camp fee is only 1000 HUF. As a result of this, such families have the opportunity to send their children to a summer camp at Lake Balaton, who could not afford it otherwise. However, this camp is not about lying on the beach. Not at all.

The programme includes: dragon boat, obstacle course, fable forest, folk dance, plenty of games, and of course campfires.

Smart and apt Scouts show the children how they can light a fire by means of matches, put up a tent and how much fun it is to sleep in in. In addition, the children are going to learn to carve wood, tie knots and they are going to hike and sing.

The patrols (with 6-10 members from the same age group and gender) participate in the versatile promgrammes together and sleep in the patrol tents. There are give meals provided a day.
